About

I have been interested in art throughout my life: I took private lessons from a Miss Topham-Brown as a teen, attended a year at Langara Art School and, later, did two years at Emily Carr School of Art and Design.  My primary focus at that time was black-and-white photographic portraits.

Since I semi-retired, I have been happy and excited to be able to pursue my art on a full-time basis.  I am primarily self-taught, but have been fortunate to have taken workshops from a number of well-known and skilled artists.  My preferred subject matter is Portraiture and my preferred media is Oils.

I am currently a member of the North Shore Artists Guild, and an Active member of The Federation Of Canadian Artists.
